HousingFest raises enough funding to house three people
April 19, 2017
HousingFest 2017, featuring St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Aaron Lee Tasjan, was a tremendous success. Held at The Fillmore on Saturday, March 11th, the show sold out as more than 2,000 people came together to help end homelessness in Charlotte.
Thanks to concert attendees, and our generous sponsors, HousingFest raised nearly $50,000. Those funds will help house three chronically homeless individuals, giving them a renewed sense of hope, security, and dignity. If you attended the show, our heartfelt thanks. If you weren’t able to make it, we hope you’ll join us next year as we continue the fight to end homelessness in Charlotte.
It’s never too late to donate. Continue to visit housingfest.org for more information and keep up to date on next year’s event.
